At NLSDA Street dance is our focus - but we believe that contemporary dance is a fundamental and necessary style to learn to enhance your creativitty within street dance.
The more you understand about your body the better all-round the dancer you will become !
Explore and understand basic contemporary moves
Focus on core strength
knowledge of correct body alignment
learn fundamental techniques from contemporary dance pioneers
explore improvisation and improve your own choreographic skills
*suitable for beginners
Please wear comfortable clothing - e.g leggings and always bring socks for floorwork
