Hello,

Welcome to Ignition Group 2!

We are always excited to welcome new members and share our passion for dance with you

Ignition 1 is already full so we have this class to assist with extra students.

We have limited spaces available so don't miss out on being part of this vibrant dance community.

Ignition 2

Friday 5.30pm - 6.30pm

Age 5.5 - 8 years

Location - Kingsmead school, Southbury Road, EN11YQ

About the class - Warm ups, dance games, routines, freestyle fun!

Within this class we concentrate on teaching rhythm and groove through the foundation steps you find within hiphop. They learn cool, fun and memorable routines that we perform to family and friends in and out of the studio.

Performance opportunities

Performance opportunities are available every term for all age groups to help build that confidence and performance quality!

There are also opportunities to audition for our performing groups that compete in competitions and perform at events annually.

On Sunday 22nd June 2025 we will be holding our summer show at the Millfield Theatre! The show is a very meaningful one for us this year - It our 10 year anniversary show! ALL classes and students can take part. It will be a FABULOUS experience!

This event will showcase the remarkable talent and dedication NLSDA dancers and teachers over the last decade. This term we will be continuing to work on our routines for what will be a fabulous show!

We will be a doing a whole academy rehearsal for this show on Monday 16th June and require everyone to be in attendance on this day. (Time slots between 4.15pm and 8.15pm)

New students

We are opening this class to new students for the first 4 weeks only and then we are closing the books until after the show is complete. Those that join us within those 4 weeks would be eligible to join us for the show in June.

Prices

Full term - £108 (11 sessions/weeks) - Please note - we have added the £9 to this price for the Whole Acdemy show rehearsal which will take place at the Millfield Theatre on Monday 16th June (4.30pm onwards)

Trial price = free!

Sibling discount - 10% off for the second & third childs tuition - eldest child pays full price

Prices for New Joiners (after trial) - £99 (10 sessions/weeks after trial plus show rehearsal)

**Awards Evening - No normal dance session on Friday 27th June - we will be holding an awards night for all students to attend! Please make a note in your diaries! This will be a ticketed event.

New joiners

Booking a trial

If you have booked a free trial with us, welcome, & thank you for booking with us! We will be in contact with you after your trial with details of becoming part of our NLSDA family :) You have 1 week from date of trial to confirm your space. If we do not hear from you your place will go to the next student who wishes to trial.

After trial

If you have just joined us for a trial we hope your child enjoyed the session and will go on to join us at NLSDA. You will be expected to take part in the Summer show in June.

To book your space after trial please pay via the 'new Joiners' option.

We will share any videos with you to practice via the NLSDA whatsapp groups (please let us know if you opt out of photos and videos)
